Oh my Creator

Oh my creator. You are more aware of my truth than I could ever be.

I stumble and bumble over what I have created and nurtured out of fear and desire.

security in this world, prestige, power.

I clamor and clasp on to thoughts and images that I think will bring me what only surrendering absolutely into the loving arms of your embrace can bring, held in the secret truth of you everlasting permanence.

It is I that run and flitter to and fro. Your steadfastness draws me in.

In quiet and stillness, the solitude of your embrace is my eternal homecoming.

Not for what I have done to earn this unfathomable truth, but simply because you desired me into your creation. And you desire to bring what you fashioned into your likeness back unto yourself.

Truly death where is your sting.

May I rest within my soul and my soul rest in Thee oh Lord. Amen. Alleluia.
