blood and soil

Blood belongs to life, and Life to God.

Soil to man, and to Dust.

We are both blood and soil.

Man must not sanctify himself, rather offer up the first fruits of any labor in Gratitude.

And this of course is metaphorical. What that means is that we would do best to acknowledge our absolute nothingness apart from that which is unfolding our existence. We are not separate from it but we are not it. To Acknowledge this first in ALL things is to offer up first fruits. Early Christian Father’s referred to this practice as living in unceasing prayer. And this practice as part of his way was passed on by Christ.
